The Massachusetts State Police take pride in their heritage and wish to
preserve their history for future members of the department as well as for the
public. The Massachusetts State Police Museum and Learning Center will provide
an opportunity for visitors to explore the Massachusetts State Police’s past
as well as learn more about up to date law enforcement methods and current

The Museum is presently being developed in
the former State Police Barracks in Grafton, Massachusetts. To create a
Museum that is open to the public and handicapped accessible is our goal.
Guided by architectural plans we have completed the main level of the
building , artifacts are on display and audio video equipment provide
historical information. There are ongoing development projects of digital
data based pictures, documents and equipment. A vault secures items such as
“Sacco and Vanzetti “ memorabilia and other rare documents. The building is
secured and protected by a state of the art electronic alarm system
monitored 24 hours a day. This system has been donated by a retired Trooper.
To develop the Museum and achieve the requirements of public and disability
access, a budget of $500,000 has been developed. Annual monetary
contributions are made by active members of the State Police and from The
Former Massachusetts State Troopers Association. The Massachusetts State
Police Museum and Learning Center, Inc. is a 501(C)(3) organization. Your
donation is tax deductible to the full extent of the law. |
